“Prior to joining Royal Trinity Hospice, I had limited volunteering experience. Whilst I knew I would be welcomed by the organisation, I assumed my role would be considered as more of an ‘extra’ rather than as an integral part of the team.

However, this assumption couldn’t have been further from the truth.

From day one, I was made to feel a valued member of the hospice. The professional and pastoral support I’ve received has been second to none, and it has been a deeply rewarding experience to contribute to such an important cause.

My colleagues have consistently made me feel included, supported, and appreciated in my work – a testament to the compassionate culture they foster.

What truly inspires me about Trinity is its extraordinary ability to touch so many lives in our community. They provide solace not only to those navigating loss but also to their extended families.
