On International Nurses Day, we want to take a moment to say thank you, and to remind our community why what happens in our shops truly matters.

Every item donated and every purchase made helps us raise vital funds to support end of life care for people across London. And at the very heart of that care are our incredible nurses.

Our specialist care

Every year, Royal Trinity Hospice nurses deliver specialist nursing care and support to over 2,500 people living with life-limiting illnesses, offering comfort, expertise, empathy and dignity at one of the most important and difficult times.

Hospice care plays a vital role in helping people to live as well as possible for as long as possible. Around 85% of our patients receive care in their own homes, allowing them to remain surrounded by what’s familiar and comforting.

Last year alone, our community nursing team made 2,708 home visits, and we provided round‑the‑clock specialist care to 332 people in our inpatient unit.

Our care is completely free, but it’s only possible because of the generosity of our supporters.

How our charity shops help

To continue providing this vital care, Royal Trinity Hospice needs to raise £13 million every year.

When you donate your preloved clothes or accessories, you’re helping turn generosity into care. When you shop with us, knowing that 100% of the profit goes directly to supporting Royal Trinity Hospice, you’re helping fund specialist nurses who are there when families need them most.

Without your support, we wouldn’t be able to be there for patients and families at the end of life.
