Volunteering with Trinity is a great way to gain work experience, build confidence and to learn new skills.

We have lots of different opportunities available in our charity shops, or in the hospice.

Hear from one of our student volunteers, Elina, who is a model and photographer volunteer.

I’m studying documentary photography. I saw an advert online for the volunteer role and thought it looked like a good opportunity. I enjoy taking photos of the stock and working with different people.

Our current minimum age limit for shop volunteers is 14 (in selected shops) and 16 in the rest of our shops, subject to availability. The minimum age limit for hospice volunteers is 18 for patient-facing, garden and cafe roles. We have a limited number of office-based summer work experience opportunities available at the hospice for students aged 14 years and upwards. Volunteering with Trinity can count towards your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE). We have opportunities available from as little as one hour a week.
