Helen Cutter Noyes Maclennan

Helen Maclennan, born in Cambridge Massachusetts, studied at Radcliffe College, Harvard University, and Oxford University. She taught history at Brearley School in New York, the Winsor School Boston, and Queens College, London. She was married to Paul Noyes (widowed in 1966), and then to Robert Maclennan (later Lord Maclennan of Rogart), MP for Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross from 1966 to 2001.
